full size arca plate for the Q2 without the grip

Does this exist? I don't like the grip stubble, bit would like a Arca plate which covers the full length of the camera, is anyone making one of these?

Not that I am aware of. The only thing I can think of is to get a universal l-bracket and don’t mount the vertical bit. That’s what I do with my Olympus m4/3. I use a cheap Chinese version bought off Amazon but more reputable versions are also available (eg 3 legged thing). Looks ugly though.

Yes, like someone else already said, there are universal L brackets.....but very likely you will loose easy access to sd and battery

Arca-Swiss does have a streamline L plate that might allow access to both:

Those knock-off copies often have the grip as a separate element, but keep in mind that sometimes their QC is not that good - might have a tad wider or narrower plate, and often the edges are not smooth - paint finish is also lousy (durability/scratch resistance)
