Just acquired this standard with ‘foto Greger Poznań’. I have seen 4 others in books and online with such a marking and all 5 there are strap lugs, when there usually aren’t.

Would such a distributor have requested  such an addition from the factory or done in house?

I'm not sure which you are referring to, the lugs or the engraved plate? The former would have come on Model I A cameras sold for a period as part of a set with an ETRIN case, FODIS rangefinder and two FILCA cassettes. They are usually lower down on the camera body than the lugs on later cameras. I believe the engraved plates were put on by dealers.

Thanks William, that’s good to know. Yeh I was referring to the strap lugs, I always though the standard and the II came without but I guess there must have been exceptions. Seems like the lugs sometimes appear on cameras during this period

See the outfit on the right in this photo. The I Model A has strap lugs which came on the camera from the factory.

These are lower than on a III. I have some other photos which illustrate this lower position and there is also a thread about this somewhere on the forum.
