I have both. They are the same but different. The Q2 does what the Q2M can't, shoot color. That said, the Q2M is vastly better at high iso. So for me it makes sense as I usually don't shoot mono in the day, mainly color. On the other hand, i love shooting low light mono. I've tried a Q2M with M10 combo and the Q2 with M10M combo also. Honestly, if you are not going to shoot at a higher ISO maybe it wouldn't make sense to have both. Best is to try it though, if you have the budget. Both have very good resale value if one doesn't work out.
