LR Metadata settings for exported images

Are there recommendations for this, for images posted in forums? Are there privacy issues to consider - just wondering what information can be extracted, if any, from images that are posted? Thanks.

Yes, that's what I would like to do. How do you do it? I don't believe that it can be done properly in Lightroom, for example.

I don't record GPS data with my images, and the only personal data I include is my name for copyright purposes. I don't generally include personal data in file names. What data privacy should I be sensitive about?

i use metadata-wrangler for lightroom

OR

You can use exiftool to remove any metadata entries you want.

make a batch file that can be copied to the folder where the images are and then run that file, i use that way for film scans and other vintage lenses
