Boogdaddy Posted July 9, 2022 Share #1 Posted July 9, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have recently purchased a D-Lux 7 and I'm looking for recommendations for a small, hard-sided pouch or case that will accommodate the DL7. I have a Gariz half case for the camera but I need something I can use to protect the camera while traveling and in transit. I'm planning a trip to Europe in September and just want something that I can throw in a backpack while in transit. I'm thinking something like a Lowepro Hardside CS 40 (or similar). I'm just not sure what the best fit will be. Has anyone purchased a pouch or case like this to use for travel that can tell me which products will fit the camera? Thanks! Stephencdean Posted July 10, 2022 Share #2 Posted July 10, 2022 I use a Manfrotto Nano VII camera pouch, but leave the shoulder strap outside the pouch, closing the flap between the strap. This gives you a protective layer over the camera. The half case is worthwhile as well, as the plastic body of the camera looked a bit flimsy to me. Fine in the half case though!
Boogdaddy Posted July 11, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted July 11, 2022 Thanks Stephencdean. The Manfrotto Nano camera pouch are showing as No Longer Available everywhere I've looked online. I'll keep looking for something similar. I'm considering an Artisan & Artist soft pouch....
PAG Posted July 23, 2022 Share #4 Posted July 23, 2022 Try this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07M6ZHMR5 It is made for the D Lux 7 - it is not a general purpose case. I have one and it is great.
