Can you help me identify a Leica Rangefinder case. The case is Leica OEM with three features that are unfamiliar to me. I don't own the case and had only a few moments to capture images with my phone. Here are its three, distinct features hopefully clear to you in the attached images:

1, There is a metal bracket neatly attached the underside of the case, adjacent to the knob that would secure the case to its camera's baseplate. The bracket is neatly attached to the leather with small, round-headed rivets. It is a little over two inches long ans looks like it would slide into its receiving mount surface. The bracket does not appear to be OEM.

2. The inside, bottom surface of the case where the baseplate rests is not entirely flat from end-to-end. At the end opposite the threaded mount, there is a solid "block" about the size of a sugar cube. The "block" is uniformaly covered with the red plush lining of the case's interior.

3. At one end of the case, on the side of the case where the side meets the bottom, there is a square cut-out in the leather. The cut-out appears to be factory stitched and reinforced and looks like it is there to provide access to something on the camera when it's in it its case.

Please see attached images. My apologies for their less than stellar quality:
