mym6is12 Posted October 22, 2007 Share #21 Posted October 22, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anyone use the Leica leather pouches ? I find them too much of a fiddle. Instead, I use rock climbing chalk pouches - which have wide hand sized entrances, a draw string and a fibre pile lining ( which does not lint ). gwelland Posted October 24, 2007 Share #22 Posted October 24, 2007 Leica leather lens pouches tend to stay in the box after the lens has been removed on day one. I find the zipper and general layout of the leather cases unhelpful for real day to day use.

The only Leica leather lens case which I use in practice is that for my 280/4 R; the lens is a bit big to put in the padded bags I use for the rest of my gear, so I carry it around in its own case - don't keep the lens zipped up in it at home though - I like things to get some air.
