leavesofjoy Posted June 8, 2022 Share #1 Posted June 8, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi there- I just got a Leica D-Lux 7, and watched the "Using and setting up" video from Leica Australia. I went through all the menu items one by one to change them to the recommended settings- so file type and size, shutter timer delay, all the detailed stuff in the many menus there. But, as soon as I change anything else on the camera, or even just turn it off and then back on again, all those settings are lost. I can't for the life of me figure out how to not have it reset every time. Can someone please walk me through really simple directions for this? Thank you so much! Guest Posted June 9, 2022 Share #2 Posted June 9, 2022 Einstellungen müssen gesichert/gespeichert werden. Hauptmenü öffnen / linke Leiste, Position "Schraubenschlüsselsymbol" anklicken / Seite1/4 erste Zeile - C1,C2,C3 Off/On - z.b. "C1 On" aktivieren 2. Zeile C1, C2-oder C3 mit Yes bestätigen. Die Einstellungen sind dann gesichert bzw. gespeichert bis zu einer neuen Konfiguration via Überschreiben. Please, via Translator Deutsch/Englisch übersetzen lassen, many success. kind regards klaus-michael
leavesofjoy Posted June 9, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted June 9, 2022 Thank you, that was very helpful! I did that with my new settings, but I also found that for them to be saved and load again after the camera was off, I had to do an additional step: Below "Utilize Custom Set Feature" is "Cust. Set Menu". I clicked on that and confirmed to overwrite the custom settings with the C2 that I had programmed in the previous set. That seems to actually load the settings as the ones being used, instead of just saving them without applying them. Thank you so much for getting me on the right track!
