I bought a copy 7 months ago. I am only a couple of years younger than the book!  The phraseology I recognise as being of 'my era'.  Just as other contributors have said above  it is all as true today as it was then.  How many of us have said 'yes done that'; 'been there (not geographically!)'; 'agreed'; 'I don't, either' and, I suppose more, sometimes unpublishable! Quite makes me feel old.............Ho-Hum.

Located mine, on a shelf with random others.  I collected Leica books, and literature, for a long time.

Thank you for the 'gudonnyaz'; Pippy, Tomsmac; and pgk.

I have just finished "On Photographs" by David Campany.  Very philosophical and difficult to understand where the
commentary is leading.  Very much in the genre of  'There is a hidden or secret meaning in the composition
of this photograph'.  Perhaps, but maybe not.  I do not know of the thoughts of other observers but that
I look at a photograph and see what the lens captured in that brief element of time.  It shows me what this bit of the
universe looked like and was doing at that time.  One second before and one second after it was all different.

Perhaps the Earth is not speeding up and I am not slowing down maybe there is too much happening for me to keep up!!
Now cannot remember if took my evening ration of pills..........ermmm

Be More Spaniel and Best Regards
