ksmtnman Posted May 17, 2022 Share #1 Posted May 17, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am a fairly new user of a Q2 4 months now. I like shooting Panoramic's and have with my Nikon's etc. Was trying to set up for Q2 via an RSS Pano platform and adjust for Parallax, not seeing a RRS camera bracket for Q2. I do see that on the menus that there is a Pano in the scene mode, Vert and Horizontal though not had had an opportunity to use it yet, Jpeg I am sure. But, I was holding the Q2 in the Vertical position for a few seconds and all of a sudden the live view screen goes away and a screen resembling the start up screen with a gray scale rotating circle in the middle and rimmed on the edges a red rimmed boarder appears and then goes blank, I also show three small triangles showing up in the lower left corner. Anyone knows why it does that or can explain that. Thanks. Does not do this in the Horizontal orientation.
Advertisement Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 Hi ksmtnman, Take a look here Panos for Q2 and disappearing screen???. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
rpittal Posted May 17, 2022 Share #2 Posted May 17, 2022 (edited) I have RRS L brackets on both of my Q2s (part number BQ2-LPG B if I read it right); allows easy Portrait and Landscape changes. They attach to the RRS pano brackets fine. B&H shows them out of stock. RRS has them listed but no indication if in stock. ksmtnman Posted May 17, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted May 17, 2022 Thanks, I just found the brackets on the RSS web site, looks like they will work fine. Also figured out the screen. Had the Bluetooth still set from setting up the BT and paring it to the iPhone. Turned off the BT and the screen acts as normal. With so many menus and sub-menus it is easy to get lost in them or have some set that affects something else.
