Leica D-Lux LCD/rear-visor colour problem

During a hike in a sandy/beach area (and slightly wet) the rear view/LCD of a Leica D-Liz all of a sudden had a drastic change in quality with image appearing as if through a “night vision goggles” - with lots of green colours. Any thoughts on what to do?

Welcome Hugo. Have you downloaded the file? What is the battery state? Restarted the camea with a fully-charged battery?

Dear @wda! Thank you very much for that very useful tip! The colours in the LCD magically returned after the battery got fully charged! But the Leica D-Lux did not want to make it easy on us: after the colour returned the LCD/rear-screen now seems to be off and only the eye piece is working. Any thoughts on that one?

Check the menu to set your preferences for LCD/EVF. Then clear the eyepiece sensor window of dust and debris.
