It seems to be popular these days and I've been playing around with it a bit. It's definitely lower contrast and doesn't have that clinical sharpness, but I think in some instances it looks pretty nice. It seems to work better in lower light situations with either a slight blue or orange color cast. There are many ways to do it. I started with some Photoshop actions, which aren't bad, but have since started using the RGB channels on the tone curve. Here are a couple of examples from a show I shot of my friend's band. With stage lighting the photos didn't need much, but the effect is there. M10-R & VM 35 APO or Summarit 75/2.5 Welcome, dear visitor!
