Just received a Leitz copy stand from the late 20's, and this was included. I presume it is version of the film trimming template. It is not maker marked, so possibly another  of the homemade templates that often are seen., many shown in previous forum posts. Here the film is pressed between two brass heavy plates and clamped with a thumb screw in a steel frame. It seems to work well making a very comparable film cut as the Leitz ones. It is folded from one piece of brass to produce a uniform slot of about .010 inch thickness, and the steel clamp is brazed, possibly beyond the  average user.  Perhaps a small shop made a handful of these.  If anyone recognizes it, please inform us.
