Wow! What a camera. After reading so much about the camera, everything I have read is true. There is really no point in repeating all the positive features and to, again, rave about the image qualtiy. Rather, i would like to offer some observations as a new user. Things that I found strange and could be worth changing on future models.

1. Eronomics: The camera feels good my hands - with and without the grip. Everything is within reach - and there isn't much to reach for in the first place. Yet, two control elements could be improved. The frist is the placement of the control dial. For me, it could be closer to where the thumb rests, in fact, it could be part of the thumbrest. That would not only allow better operation with my thumb. I think it would also be easier to overcome the "resistance" of the wheel (to prevent accidental movement). The second is the Button that controls the digital zoom (or other function sif assigend to it). It could stick out a little further so that it is easier to find and operate.

2. The Status Screen: This can be a very useful tool, but it does have some limitations, the first one being that it cannot be edited. There are function I hardly ever use. Secondly, while the screen shows the EV adjustment scale, EV compensation cannot be controlled with the top control wheel while the Status Screen is active. And last, it would be helpful if there was an option for the Status Screen to remain "On" all the time.

3. There is no "Reset Button" to reset the magnification box in playback mode. The box stays at the position it was last moved to.

4. Love the ease of switching from AF to MF with the lens switch. But that switch could be a little more pronounced to allow for easier operation.

Other than that, I am an extremly happy camper. My Sony FF and Fuji gear are taking a backseat, and I am actively considering selling all of my Sony gear.

Cheers, Michael
