Lightroom and C1P tether support requires and M11 firmware update that should be coming.

I had a shoot the other day and use Fotos app and USC-C cable on iPad Pro to view shooting images large as they come in. The images stay on the SD card, but with a cable connection you can quickly page true larger images.

I think the use of the M11 in studio is probably limited for me. the fact that the flash trigger takes the spot of the Visoflex is an issue where precise work and framing is required.
So you are limited by the lenses you use. If the M11 just had a sync port! since flash photography is often in controlled environments .

I still welcome this innovation and looking forward to a Capture one for iPad this year, making everything even more portable.

Has anyone gotten the M11 to tether with Lightroom Classic? I noticed it's not on Adobe's list of supported cameras. I'm curious if anyone knows what to do to make it work with Lightroom Classic on a M1 Mac. I didn't find much info on the forums so I'm starting to think it's not supported.

I contacted Leica customer care and they sent me the below response. So far it seems to work thought I did find one bug. Pasting Leica's response here in case anyone finds this thread:

yes, it is possible to tether the M11 via Lightroom. You will need the Lightroom Tethered Plug-in 2.0.1 to do so:

Please install the plug-in and make sure to set the USB mode of your M11 to "PTP".

Best regards,

Tim
