Anybody’s got any experience using this version of the adapter?

I do have the sigma Mc-21 and it works alright but there is some play between the lens and the mount.. so, haven’t been using that much.. this peipro looks well made and am wondering if anybody has it

Dumb adapters are fine, but I'd be very wary of unknown adapters with electronic contacts. There was a user here some time back who used a Fotodiox adapter, it fried his SL. Rather take your MC-21 & lens into Sigma & ask them to have a look at why there's play.  I've been using the MC-21 for about 21/2 years with the Canon 400mm f4 & it's rock solid.

I would not wait any money on adapters that don't provide firmware updates or list compatible lenses.

Even if it works form some, the experience can be really frustrating .

Sigma MC-21 is the best option out there right now for SL2 users. Official only for EF sigma lenses, but many other canon lenses work well.

Fotodiox comes out with a new adapter every week, and they are all low quality. Even the one without contacts have often internal black coating that still causes internal reflections.

I second that.. they're neither appealing nor well built.. wish they took more money and upped their quality
