I fell down a 20-metre muddy embankment in a country park with my Leica SL2 and 24-90mm Elmarit on my back. It's covered in mud. I'm scared to death to attempt to clean it myself, does anyone know of Leica repair shops in the UK that can handle things like this? Or is there anyone with experience that can suggest anything I can do? The camera itself turns on OK, but the lens.... oy!

I'm in Cambridge.

Hope you get well soon! Regarding your gear, isn't the SL2 and your lens "waterproof"? If so, I'd suggest to carefully rinse your equipment with lukewarm water (no detergents!), holding the lens down. Take the battery out first, and do not reinsert before everything has had time to thoroughly dry. Leica will probably do the same.
