Hi Michael, I don't have a D-Lux 7, but note that you have posted your question in the German language part of this forum. Try reposting in the international part of the forum, where English is the dominant language.

Keith (M) Posted February 25, 2022 Share #5 Posted February 25, 2022 You should be able to download the D-Lux 7 instruction manual (10Mb!) from the Leica website. I have just had a quick look in my copy but did not see anything about adjusting viewfinder brightness. The only adjustment I found is:- If [EVF Display Speed] is set to [ECO30fps] when the viewfinder is used, the camera can be operated for a longer period since battery drainage is reduced. Thanks. Michael yes, you can. Wrench (Setup)icon->Monitor display->Brightness ...and here is the trick. Look through the viewfinder and decrease the viewfinder Brightness. The LCD luminance is unaffected. Page 199. • When the monitor is in use, it is adjusted and the viewfinder when the viewfinder is in use. This statement is confusing for those with English as first language but is perfectly fine with me with English as the third language 😊 Welcome, dear visitor!
