So, this is my story, I just got a Leica TL, beautiful camera, and as a new user, I just want to get the best of it, everything going well, however, when trying to use the Leica app on my cellphone I realized that the app asks for a QR, that should be generated in the camera, so guess what, it does not. I realized it should be a firmware topic, so checked and my camera is on firmware 2.1, most likely the QR stuff was added in a future firmware. So I went through the menus in the official Leica webpage, and guess what, the firmware files up to version 2.4 are listed, but to my suprise, there are no links to download them! For other cameras, like Tl2 or C there is this button to download, but not for the TL. I also tried registering my product, but the page said that there are no downloads for my product. Why are they banished from existence? As a side note, I wrote to the support, but I still havent get an answer. So the Leica TL only exists on my imagination, Leica just want to forget about it by deleting all the files for it, or what's going on? Welcome, dear visitor! So I used and I was able to connect to the Photos app! Still, I find it weird that they removed all the links on their website, the firmware files are mentioned and they even have the "How to install.." documentation, well, maybe it's a mistake. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
