chrisinsf Posted February 18, 2022 Share #1 Â Posted February 18, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Quick question if anyone can help: Does E82 = 82mm...meaning I can use any 82mm graduated nd filter? Background: Trying to take moon shots with city skyline fully lit and the moon not blown out. Â I've read I need a graduated ND filter. Â I don't think Leica makes one (or do they?). Â So, there are lots of 82mm graduated ND filters for sale and curious if they will all work with the Apo-Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280? Any help is greatly appreciated.... Advertisement Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Hi chrisinsf, Take a look here Apo-Vairo-Elmarit-SL 90-280 Filter Thread - Does E82 = 82mm?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
aksclix Posted February 18, 2022 Share #2 Â Posted February 18, 2022 Yes, E82 is 82mm. I have the E82 ND filter by Leica. Not graduated though. For graduated, I use the freewell magnetic filters And, of course any 82mm filter should work with the 90-280.. why is there a confusion about that?
