LiveView out via USB-C to Mac/iPadPro?

Hi everybody,

does the USB-C connection give me a live stream of the live view into a Mac/iPadPro, independently of the Leica app?

My idea is to use the M11 as a kind of a stationary video camera, where the recording happens in the external device. Whenever I‘m feeling my oats, I could even impress everybody with the quality of my webcam feed… 😱

Bonus question: The M11 (as I understand it) does not charge via USC-C while in operation. But can it still use the power coming in via the cable and keep the internal battery at level? Or will it drain the battery, no matter what?

on iPad only with FOTOS APP.

NO C1P SUPPORT.

Does not have HDMI, so don't think so.

It would trickle charge when in operation. It will still charge and extend your shooting. probably not enough to keep it fully charged
