Geoff, I think this would have been a cracker at low tide - I always find low tide more interesting than high.

Nice One! I particularly like how the one cloud is being torn by the hill/mountain. Lovely shot, do you have one with boats moored to the bouys?

Hi Geoff, nice picture although I would have cropped half of the water.

But I have a digression here: is your Minilux actually working nowadays? I had one with the fixed lens and another one with the zoom (actually I gave it as a present to a friend). The first one to die in the ERR realm was the zoom one which had shot about 10 rolls during three years. Mine –the fixed lens one– endured five years with rather extensive use before showing ERR. I tried everything to fix it (except sending it back to Leica) without success.

Horacio: I agree with you, a little less water improves it I think.

My Minilux is about 7 years old and still works well.

It is the fixed lens version, 40mm f2.4.

I'm always impressed by the results

 

John: I don't have that view with boats moored. It was difficult enough getting good clouds, patches of sun and a train in sunlight. :<))

 

Steve: I don't have that shot at low tide (see above!) although I do have others around there which I will scan and post here in due course.
