iczek Posted January 22, 2022 Share #1 Posted January 22, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I am looking for some info about Elmarit 24-70/2,8 and Lee 100 filters system. The lens filter diameter for Vario-Elmarit is 82 and I am wondering if there is a mechanic vignetting with Lee 100 system: https://www.leefilters.com/index.php/camera/system at 24mm? Should I look for classic adapter 82mm or I need special wide adapter... anyone use this system for landscape?

Lee do not list this lens in their System Match, so presumably offer no solution that is satisfactory.
strohscw Posted January 22, 2022 Share #3 Posted January 22, 2022 (edited) Hello, when I was still shooting with Canon, I also had the 100 filter system from Lee. For use with my 24 wide angle TS-E I used a wide angle adapter ring between lens and filter holder, this way the filter is closer to the lens and you avoid vignetting. Your 24-70 should work with the 82mm WideAngle Adapter. Edited January 22, 2022 by strohscw

I think this is not the matter of lens being on this list or not. They do not have a chance to test all lenses So I am looking for some field test
