Popular Post oliviersm Posted January 18, 2022 Popular Post Share #1 Posted January 18, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I miss the days when I made more time to shoot film. I don't feel like I had any less going on, but I had the time to shoot, develop and scan so much film. It doesn't help that my trusty SP500 scanner is toast. That really helped me speed up my workflow. I miss black & white film. No matter how much I love my SL2-S or my M9, give me my trusty M7 and some Tri-X or HP5 and I'll be content. Herr Barnack Posted January 23, 2022 Share #4 Posted January 23, 2022 A very beautiful and moving image, @oliviersm. If you love black and white, you just can't go wrong with Tri-X.

I mean I love Ilford Pan F 50 and also HP5+, as well as some Fomapan every now and then, but Tri-X 400... it is simply the "can't go wrong" film. Nicely put.
