To begin with, the OP said something along the lines of when everything started around tech and less about the art of photography 

I was primarily answering to that.. yes, it’s a lot about tech but it has never NOT been about photography.. why is that even a surprise in 2022? This argument would’ve been valid 20 years ago. I was trying to emphasize on how those little tech advancements are assisting photographers take better pictures.. touch AF, 30fps shooting, subject detection, tethering tools, built in memory are all such impressive advancements to mention a few… 

let’s not talk about those that over rely on tech.. let’s talk about those who love tech and love understanding every aspect of it and geek out with it.. it’s fascinating and there’s no harm in discussing that IMO
