I deleted a photo by accident. How to recover?

Earlier today I was looking through some photos on the back of my ME and accidentally deleted one. I have not used the camera after that so I am hoping it can be recovered.

Do any of you have experience with any software to do this?

I use a macbook if it makes a difference...

There are a number of utilities out there for this sort of thing.  Sandisk has one you can download for free ad try out, but there are others that out there at no cost. A quick search for SD car data recovery should yield what you need.

Thanks for the tips. I tried several and none of them seem to be free. This is only for a single photo so I would rather not spend 40 plus tax for a (hopefully) single-use scenario. None of them seem to be "free" which I don't mind but I don't want to get gouged for a single maybe-not-even-that-great photo. I tried the link from SanDisk, EaseUs, Disk Drill, and Stellar.

What a stupid way to implement deleting files on the Leica... So counterintuitive!
