After months of browsing forums and watching videos, I finally have my first Leica camera.  A month ago my turn came up on the waitlist for the 35mm apo and now I was lucky enough to snag a silver m11 from the SF Leica store (thanks to Alex and the entire team for the great customer service and helping me get a camera on launch day).  Now I have the camera, a lens, and the visoflex.  The battery had no charge out of the box so I have to wait a little bit before I take my first snap.  I have several trips planned in February and look forward to taking this camera with me to capture some of the moments.  maybe I'll take some good enough to share...

Note - there were no batteries or rear screen protectors available for purchase today.  Not sure if any store has these yet.

Harry at Harry Benz is working on a custom length urūshī strap which should pair nicely and keep the m drop free for years to come.
