Advertisement Posted January 7, 2022 Posted January 7, 2022 Hi pietermooij, Take a look here M10D White Balance. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
evikne Posted January 7, 2022 Share #2  Posted January 7, 2022 I only have the ordinary M10, but I have the Fotos app, and I assume it works the same way with both cameras. Most WB settings seem to work as expected. When choosing for example "Shade" in the Fotos app, the following pictures will be taken with the "Shade" setting. But the "Gray Card" and "Color Temperature" settings are mysterious. If you choose "Gray Card" on a camera with an LCD screen, you will be asked to take a picture with a neutral gray surface. Then you can use the camera’s rear controller to select an exact point in the picture for color sampling. But in the Fotos app there is no possibility for this. And when you select “Color Temperature” in the Fotos app, there is no possibility to select which Kelvin degree you want (as you can with a “screen M”). I have searched the web throughly, but I can’t find any answers. If you want a custom WB, I will suggest to just use AWB and take a picture of a WB card (or something else with a neutral gray color) in the same light as the other pictures, then use the WB eyedropper tool in LR to set the WB and copy the WB values over to the other pictures. That’s a safe and simple way to do it.
