Concern re color patch

I just came back from shooting some images in the fog. I shoot in raw, auto iso and aperature control. These are unprocessed. There is a noticeable fairly large central peach colored subtle coloring in the center as shown in the images. I first thought it could be my monitor, but I have a 3 monitor setup with different monitors and it's not the monitor. Any ideas? Q2

Very interesting, never thought of that. When I bought the camera in the spring, they gave me a filter, said it was a good filter and put it on and I haven't thought about it since then. I'll take a look. Thanks so much for that.

I have the problem, and haven't checked the filter too. Although I got the highest quality Zeiss T* filter. I have seen the artifact a few times - on snowy days, sometimes when it's overcast and of course in a fog. I really doubt it's the filter - been using the same filter on my Fujifjilm X100T for 5+ years and I've never seen the problem there. 

I am actually thinking of selling the Q2 if this turns out to be the camera, and "normal" by Leica's standards.

I would suggest trying some A/B test shots with the current filter and another filter you might have lying around. I would try taking those test shots of a grayscale and color chart to see if you notice the same effect.

if it persists I would take the camera to your AD along with the shots you’ve taken to demonstrate the effect and ask them to suggest a solution.

That's a really great suggestion. I have been interested in Breakthrough filters which are not available now and have meant to take a look at which filter I have but haven't done so yet. In fact, I have it right now and can't get the filter off so hopefully I can to find out what filter it is.

The filter is a Promaster HGX UV prime so now I'm not sure about the quality as I've heard conflicting things.

I missed a bit out of my suggested test, sorry. Shoot “No Filter”, Shoot “Filter 1”, Shoot “Filter 2” both color and grayscale. In theory that should tell you whether the issue is with one filter or with the camera.

BTW. Do you shoot with the lens hood on and is it aligned properly?

Ok I'll definitely do that. Thanks very much. Yes, I shoot with the hood on but have no idea if it's aligned properly. They aligned it (just put it on) at the camera store and the first time I took it off was this afternoon and then simply put it back on, on top of the filter which I couldn't get off yet.
