Don adds the Fotasy C-LL 'L Mount' adapter Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! Minotar is a 4 element Tessar design. Don Goldberg (DAG Camera Parts) lists recycled Minotar 35/2.8 lenses in various fittings on his website. I added the Minox hood which was slightly too wide a diameter to fit the lens ... the hood was designed for the Mk II Minotar which is approx 1mm wider diameter than the Mk I lens. I 'shimmed up' the hood attachment ring with a few spots of UV cured adhesive to enable a friction fit to the lens front. Manual focus is easier with the hood attached. Minotar lens cost $68 inc UK shipping Minox Minotar 35/2.8 covers full frame so will also be used on my SL 601. Leica bought Minox in 1996. Leica T / Minotar pics to follow. I'm happy with the tiny $68 Minotar 'L mount' Tessar lens ... it's a dull wet day so results should improve in better light. ... provided the diaphragm ghost image does not show up more with sunlight. dunk Edited December 27, 2021 by dkCambridgeshire
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members!
