vedivv Posted December 31, 2021 Share #23 Posted December 31, 2021 I suspect Q2 has some software glitch with SD cards. I mostly use Sony 300MB/S cards, and Q2 reads and writes really fast. My workflow is to use Q2 to format the card once photos are transferred. Every now and then, the card becomes super slow in Q2. Unfortunately, Q2 does not have "low level formatting" option. So I use a Canon to do the low-level formatting, and formatting again in Q2. The card becomes fast again after low level formatting. You might want to try it. Q2 V1 firmware was really pretty bad with SD cards. From V2 and on, even slower cards (170MB/s) are reasonably fast and I rarely had to wait for buffer to clear. Except the abovementioned glitch now and then.
