Maybe they will make a 28mm APO one day.

Leica does have the 28 APO for the SL, so maybe we will see it in M mount.  I have a Summicron-M 28/2 ASPH (V2) and it is a great lens.  It would be tough for me to part with it and I would have to see something really special out of the APO version to justify the cost.

Wow, thats an nice set up. Was thinking of upgrading my M9-P to an M11...but this thread makes me wonder if better to go for a 50 APO instead..then start saving for an M11!!

Depends what you’re looking to change/improve.  I own the 50 Summilux ASPH, but rented the 50 APO Summicron for a week to handle, shoot and make prints.  I decided that I preferred what I had, a conclusion that couldn’t be gleaned from forum pics and chatter.  The APO is a fine lens, but so are most M lenses.

Good shout, all my lenses are VM. They are great.
Just wondered about getting a Leica lens, and then get say a used M10-P…a massive jump up from M9 (although I am still not sure if I should sell that!)
