Advertisement (gone after registration)

So my 3 week old Q2 has an issue with a light leak (white vertical strip) on the left hand side of the LCD and I took into into Leica mayfair and they said it's not an issue they have seen before. Anyway my dealer is ordering a replacement camera but who knows when one will arrive. Has anyone else  had this problem.

I guess this is the chance to visit the store, not? 

its very difficult to see what you took a picture of. 

A white paper or grey. 

And where can the light leak from? 

This is a complete sealed camera. 

If there is a leak, then it needs to be send in to Leica and they will fix it.

It's not a light leak in that sense there is an issue with the left hand side of the LCD. as the camera is less than a month old they are replacing it with a new one. Trying to get anything repaired by Leica in the UK since Brexit is a nightmare as it apparently takes 3 weeks to ship to Germany and another 3 to ship back and in all they quoted 12 weeks for a repair. Another insane result of Brexit. Thank god my working cameras are Sony's and I have Pro membership with a free backup camera/lens service and a repair centre in London
