Alessandro Fanchin Posted September 2, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 2, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I hav just bought an Ultravid 10x42 BR green. It is one of the best object that I own. Wonderful. I am planning to buy the 12x50 as well, it is so good that I do not have any fear abut the steadiness of the image with 12x magnification. It is a pity that in the new series of Ultravid, the HD, Leica does not allow to choose the green colour!!!
Advertisement Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Hi Alessandro Fanchin, Take a look here Ultravid. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
marknorton Posted September 2, 2007 Share #2 Posted September 2, 2007 I have a green pair of 8-12 * 42 Duovids which are excellent. I like the green, matches my gum-boots/wellington boots, got to be colour co-ordinated out here in the sticks.
leicapages Posted September 3, 2007 Share #3 Posted September 3, 2007 Am using the Ultravid 10x32, excellent, powerful and yet not too big/heavy. They are used for hiking. Where weight or space are an issue, it is time for the Trinovid 8x20 BCA compact binoculars.
lars_bergquist Posted September 4, 2007 Share #4 Posted September 4, 2007 I have used a pair of Ultravid 8x20 binoculars for nearly two years now and the image quality is superb. The small exit pupil does make positioning critical, but one learns (and invents a few tricks) and after that I have a better wiew through this compact instrument than through most larger binoculars. And I can bring it along without any problems. The old man from the Age of Brass Spyglasses
