New SL2s set up

Just ploughing through the menus and manual to set up my new SL2s.Most things make sense but... had it set up for EVF extended and realized that suddenly I'm only seeing one info bar now at the bottom of the screen in the finder. Can't seem to get any other screens with data  / focus peaking or whatever to re-appear.Have tried pressing the function button next to the eyepiece to no avail.This just toggles between EVF, AUTO and EVF extended. No Info bars. except the one at the bottom.

Anyone know what the problem might be?

Turns out, my mistake was thinking the different menu screens for image capture  would already be factory set but  with my particular camera and v.2.1 they were not. I had to go into the camera settings, capture assistants menus to add the menu bars / features I wanted manually. I also thought it might be possible to toggle easily through the different screens, grid, focus peaking, clear screen etc. but maybe that's another mistake. Haven't figured that one out yet.Button on the top next to the LCD only toggles the EVF/LCD but not the info screens.

Even though the Leica menus are much nicer than the competition you can still get lost in the maze.

Tomorrow's challenge will be how to assign the self timer to the front function button but i have a feeling the best I can do is link it to the drive mode.
