I took a few photos of the same scene:

1. a more or less sharp but imho dull photo at ~f/4 and
2. a photo at f/1.5 with focus on the first building with obviously some character imho.

Purpose of the shot is to underline the empty street and pretty homogeneous architecture. Which one do you prefer in respect of the original purpose?

They are both  nice but for me, I prefere  the first,  it's an empty  street,  there are two  bikers that do  not reinforce what you are trying to  convey.
