Ian Bickerstaff Posted September 13, 2021 Share #1  Posted September 13, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I've had my SL2-S for about 2 weeks and some of the experiences I have had with it are starting to bug me, as they don't seem right, but I know that I'm getting used to a new system so am sure that some of what is concerning me may be due to my lack of knowledge and time using it. What's concerning me mostly today is that all of the menu favourites that I chose last week have disappeared and when I check in the 'Customize control > edit favourites' section of the menu I see that every option says 'Off' next to it. I had 9 or 10 chosen and working in the custom menu last week. Additionally, I changed the 'L' in prefix the 'Edit file name' function to a 'S' and after several days of working as expected, I've found today that it has reverted to 'L'. I feel like this isn't normal and that these customisations shouldn't disappear like this, but would welcome any help or other feedback. I'm running FW 2.0 btw. Thanks Ian

Virob Posted September 13, 2021 Share #2  Posted September 13, 2021 It’s possible that you might have gone into User Profile/Default Profile. Try switching to one of your saved profile. Only one profile can be selected at any one time, which is why they are all shown as “off”. You should be able to switch user profiles after pressing the menu button and from there select the user profile, 3rd icon along the bottom to change.
Anakronox Posted September 13, 2021 Share #3  Posted September 13, 2021 If you change to a different user profile and have not saved your settings to one, this can happen.  It’s bitten me before.
Ian Bickerstaff Posted September 13, 2021 Author Share #4 Â Posted September 13, 2021 Thank you both for your replies. I did set up a new profile over the weekend, so I guess the answer to my issues lies in my lack of familiarity with everything. I'll spend some time checking this later this evening. Thanks again!
