rob_x2004 Posted September 1, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 1, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) My KM5400ii is getting a bit on the cranky side with the new os. Any recommendations? I am not convinced that the after market programs were better than the one that was presented by Minolta, but with the new operating systems there seems to be compatability issues. I figure it will only get worse, as I reload devices and update drivers there seem to be clashes.

rob_x2004 Posted September 2, 2007 Author Share #2 Posted September 2, 2007 managed the vuewscan trial dl. Very glitchy with Vista Home Premium, havent tried with OSX. The trail version interface seems very very very basic when compared with the minolta scan software. Havent got to the bottom of the quality of the scan files though. Preview presentation is inane. I can see it making for an impossible workflow. What am I missing?

pleeson Posted September 7, 2007 Share #5 Posted September 7, 2007 I use VueScan with OSX with no problems, albeit with a Nikon Coolscan 9000. I can't even get Vista to work with an HP LaserJet printer in our office....
