gtmerideth Posted August 31, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 31, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just got one and I've made fifty plus prints and none are straight on the page. The variation is almost 1/4" on the 8" side. Tried different papers, paper is flat, loaded the paper in the guides tight, loose and in between. Anyone else have this problem? I'm using Lightroom to print. The color is wonderful and the detail is great but... I'm frustrated. gary.

Joe Mondello Posted August 31, 2007 Share #2 Posted August 31, 2007 Sounds like a problem with your B9180. Try this Yahoo group . . . hp9100Series : HP B9180 /9100 Series printers
Kent10D Posted September 1, 2007 Share #3 Posted September 1, 2007 That does sound like a problem with your printer. I've been using my B9180 since around last November and although I occasionally see some very slight twist on smaller prints (probably because it's more noticeable on smaller prints), for the most part things are dead straight. The only possible "user error" I can think of is the use of an unusually thin, thick, or slick non-HP paper.
