wjdrijfhout Posted August 20, 2021 Share #1  Posted August 20, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) When doing some astrophotography work with my SL2, it appeared that 15s images were a lot cleaner than 10s images. Both the hot white and colour pixels from the 10s image were gone as well as the whole base-level signal and associated noise was lower at 15s. This sounds like the opposite of what one would expect. Has anyone seen this before and/or have an explanation for it? Images were shot at ISO800 and LENR off. Attached are crops from 10s shot (first image) and a 15s shot (second image) Welcome, dear visitor!
