wolan Posted August 13, 2021 Share #1  Posted August 13, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, apparently the Auto ISO cannot be configured so that the minimum ISO selected is 50 (when the light conditions allows it), although the camera can use this value. I have to get out of Auto-ISO and manually set the ISO to 50. How to understand this? Is ISO 50 somehow not recommended by Leica? Thanks
Advertisement Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 Hi wolan, Take a look here Leica SL2-S: Auto ISO & ISO50. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Photoworks Posted August 13, 2021 Share #2 Â Posted August 13, 2021 exactly , 50 ISO seams to be an extended ISO setting. there is no real benefit to shoot at 50 ISO. one of the issues is that you don't have the lever of highlights recovery that 100 ISO offers.
