Have anyone used Voiglander 10mm f5.6 on their Leica M10? Is it hard to focus on a 10mm lens?

Never used it, but I believe it is not RF coupled. DoF on such a lens will be huge, so it should be VERY forgiving in terms of focus. I would just estimate the distance and roughly scale focus but if you are very picky, you could probably further refine focus through LV/EVF.

which means we cant use the RF but have to use peak focusing instead right?

Not quite.

Yes, the RF will be useless. The patch will not move as there is no link between the lens helicoid and the RF cam inside the body.

However, I don't think that focus peaking will be of much use either: at f/5.6 on such a short focal length, pretty much the whole frame will appear in focus.

I would just estimate the distance from your subject and set the distance scale on the lens accordingly. If your subject is very close and/or you want to make sure that you have absolutely perfect focus, then you could look through the EVF (or on the LV screen) to adjust. But I would deactivate focus peaking to avoid the coloured clutter and just rely on my eyes.

If you do need to focus with a 10mm lens, I would use Live-view.

Well, you would view either through an EVF or the rear screen. It is just about impossible to have anything out of focus using a 10mm at f/5.6 — with the lens at 1 meter, everything from about 40 cm to infinity would be in focus, stopping down would extend the near limit further.
