As of now I'm waiting for my payment to go through for the online sale, but now I'm wondering if I made a mistake and should cancel...... The seller had mentioned that if you shine a light into the 35mm Summicron (34xxx)  at the right angle, you can see a small flake of paint starting to break off on the inside of the lens. He said it's not visible at all in-camera, and that he was going to get it serviced but they said it would be more hassle than it's worth in terms of usability. How worried should I be about this in terms of the long term value of the lens? At first I brushed it off as he did, but a few hours later as I really thought about it, I googled and saw a post or two regarding people saying it impacts the value of the lens substantially. Is this true? How much does a fix like this cost if the flake breaks free on the inside?     Edited August 4, 2021 by silver45
