Hello all, my first post.

 

Public service announcement.  I purchased an DJI Ronin RS-2 gimbal recently, on the premise that the latest firmware allows control of the SL2-S from the gimbal & its Raveneye transmission system.  In my testing only stills trigger & record start/stop in video are working, and that's with the Raveneye transmitter NOT connected to the Gimbal (so you control the gimbal from your phone via bluetooth for any features like gimbal calibration, and the other modes like Panorama & Timelapse). 

 

DJI have now come back to me saying that what I've tested is true, and they aren't currently supporting the camera, even though press releases around say so (and their website, the firmware read-me etc).  They haven't mentioned a timescale for support.
