The Q2 and Q2M's 47 mp sensors are a great place to start.

With my M-P 240, I can print up to 24x36 inches and get good results, even better results at 16x24 inches.

The Q2 cameras should go up to twice those sizes with very high printed image quality.

I have a 24 x 36 printed from my old X1 which is an APS-C sized sensor-- same as the CL

the Q prints very well at 24x36  as well--- don't need the 47mp sensor for that

Like your Q, my M-P 240  can make exhibit quality prints at 24x36 inches.

For that size and anything smaller, we don't truly "need" a 47mp sensor, but it is nice to have.

IMHO, 40-50 megapixels is adequate for almost all applications.  The supposed holy grail of 100+ megapixels comes across as the mindless pursuit of the digital pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

If the M11 has 60 mp as some claim/expect/hope it will, I don't see much of a point in more pixels than that.

Really? I think some people post topics out of sheer boredom or a need to say anything. To comment on such a ridiculous comparison is almost like commenting on the question of “is the world flat or round?” Rockwell belongs where he belongs - on the Flintstones. Is anyone really that ignorant to be comparing an iPhone to a Q2. And I retrospect, perhaps responding to the post makes us look just as dumb!
