tivoli Posted June 21, 2021 Share #1 Posted June 21, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have not been able to find the answer through search. I know nothing about video but want to start taking them, particularly of myself for instructional, short, videos, indoors. Is there a self timer sort of setting to select and then get into place and then it starts recording?
Advertisement Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 Hi tivoli, Take a look here Video Self Timer?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
djcphoto Posted June 21, 2021 Share #2 Posted June 21, 2021 I am not aware of any self-timer feature for video, but for this I am very happy using the remote control feature in the Leica Fotos app on my phone to start and stop recording. It also gives you a 'monitor' to see what you are shooting. I mount my Q2 on a small tripod and prop my phone up underneath it.
PhotoCruiser Posted June 23, 2021 Share #3 Posted June 23, 2021 I think you can use Leica Fotos to start/stop video and trigger photos Chris
LocalHero1953 Posted June 23, 2021 Share #4 Posted June 23, 2021 I'm sure you'll be editing your videos, so why not just cut the opening 30secs?
