Today I shot a classic and vintage boat show. I need to keep my hands free as much as possible so (for the first time) I wore my Q2 around my neck. I checked my settings before going in and was confident in them. The sun was VERY bright and I couldn’t see the screen very well. I have no idea how the display mode got changed because I always keep it on the second stills option. Anyway, being around my neck instead of using the wrist strap must’ve caused it to get bumped and the settings were all off. I was shooting with one hand because I am injured. Anyway, 90% of my shots show “play” when I look at them through the viewfinder. They’re all very short videos! Is there a way to convert them to stills before I remove the card from the camera? This was very embarrassing to post. Please be kind. Thanks!

I'm not an expert on this at all, but I just did a quick search and there are definitely ways to save an individual frame from a video as a separate image. Here's one method using Photoshop. There might be better or easier ways.

If you live long enough, you'll accumulate a lot of embarassing moments. I've got a gold medal for that.

Did you ever check your SD card? All your shots may have been there.
