LraStn Posted May 28, 2021 Share #1  Posted May 28, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have my SL2-S set to P-A-S-M exposure preview. I hate that when I press the shutter button, the exposure preview changes based on the camera's metering system- spot, center, etc. I just want the exposure preview to always show me the exposure that will happen based on the settings. Am I missing an override somewhere? I'm afraid I'm not but please weigh in!
Advertisement Posted May 28, 2021 Posted May 28, 2021 Hi LraStn, Take a look here Exposure Preview P-A-S-M (override changes caused by meter??). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Photoworks Posted May 29, 2021 Share #2 Â Posted May 29, 2021 what lenses are you using? Â What ISO are you using?
LraStn Posted June 1, 2021 Author Share #3  Posted June 1, 2021 @Photoworks not floating iso, I have that turned off. A variety of lenses, SL or adapted M's. Regardless of setting or lenses, preview changes when shutter button is depressed.
Photoworks Posted June 1, 2021 Share #4  Posted June 1, 2021 if it happens with Sl lenses you have probably change something  that affect is. With M adapter and non coded lenses Auto does not work if a lens is not settled in the menu. I would suggest to use default profile or reset camera, and see if you still get it.
