awesom3 Posted May 18, 2021 Share #1 Posted May 18, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I think it would be really practical to store an extra battery in the grip - does anyone make such a grip in leather/metal/wood?
Advertisement Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 Hi awesom3, Take a look here Q2 grip to store extra battery. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ianforber Posted May 18, 2021 Share #2 Posted May 18, 2021 (edited) Not seen one. The battery is pretty large so I suspect no one has made a grip big enough to accommodate it. Maybe ask someone who does 3D printing? I cycle and there’s some inventive people out there who can print up this sort of stuff for not too expensive cost - I’ve got some stuff that holds bike lights and computer integrated into my handlebars. Einst_Stein Posted May 19, 2021 Share #3 Posted May 19, 2021 When I had Sony A7R2, I had a high power grip with double batteries in it. Way too heavy even for Sony. On Q/Q2? not a funny joke.

It would be way too IMpractical on such a small body considering its useage. Batteries in your pocket/bag are far more practical - on the assumption you can afford a second (or more) battery 😉
