When I got this 100-400 I was thinking on using it for  just shooting sporting events, I wasn't aware what a great sharp lens I had until I started playing around with it. Here are two examples recently taken in my front room.

I'm a big fan of the L mount Sigma lenses including the 100-400mm. Not sure which camera you're using the lens on, be aware that there's shutter shock/slap on mirrorless cameras.   I use it on the SL2 & CL, for best results it's important to use the electronic shutter.

Have a look here:

I am thinking now maybe I should trade in the Sigma 100-400 for the newer 150-600mm.  I realize its more money but  also  I've been warren that the weight will  get to  me after a while .

I know this is a personal decision but would be interested in what others have to  say.

Thanks

Hank
